How the Colour Run went for me.

The colour run is a special and important thing we do here at Buckley Park. It celebrates IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia).

I had an amazing day. It was fun! Coloured chalk was thrown around and made us very colourful. I enjoyed taking photos at the Photo booth, having chats with friends, running the run and finishing the day with an ice cream. I loved seeing everyone with a smile on their face. I was also glad to see how many people actually did the colour run because the day really means a lot to many people. Overall, the atmosphere was incredible. I feel very proud how our school recognizes this most important day.

Another great thing I saw were the little donation stalls with socks and badges. I hope Buckley Park continues this tradition as nobody should be afraid to be who they are. You are who you are and that is perfectly okay!
