Parent Teacher Interviews- Booking now open

Parent Teacher Interviews- Thursday 28th August and Friday 29th August all Students YRS 7 to 12.

Dear Parents/Guardians

THURSDAY 28TH AUGUST              3:30PM – 5:00PM 6:00PM – 8:00PM

FRIDAY 29TH AUGUST                     9:00AM – 12:30PM

You are invited to attend the second Parent Teacher Interviews for this year. We urge you to make use of this opportunity to meet the teachers of your children. We believe that contact of this nature is most beneficial to students, parents and teachers. Students are encouraged to attend the interviews with their parents.

On Thursday 28th August, students will come to school as usual during the day. All periods will be shortened by 5 minutes and students will be dismissed at 2:30pm. Interviews will take place from 3:30pm until 5:00pm and from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

On Friday 29th August, no classes will be held and interviews will take place from 9:00am until 12:30pm.

Parents can book interview times by logging onto the parent portal at

Bookings are now open.

The Parent Portal contains information about assessments and classwork that you should look at as background information to talk to the teachers about.

Please note:

  • All year levels are involved so interview times will be strictly limited to a maximum of 5 minutes per subject with each teacher.  This is important to ensure that all parents have the opportunity to see all the teachers of their children. If you require a longer conversation with any specific teacher please contact her/him to make another mutually convenient time.
  • If your child has the same teacher for more than one class, one interview slot may be enough.
  • Interviews should be booked with a gap between each to allow you time to get from one interview to the next.
  • Note the rooms the teachers are in so that the most efficient route can be planned.
  • If a teacher has no available bookings, they will not appear on the list to choose from.
  • Instrumental teachers will be available in C1 on a drop-in basis
  • Parents who require an interpreter should contact Ms. McWilliam at the college by Friday 22nd August.

If you are unable to attend but would like to find out how your child is progressing, please contact their form teacher through the General Office on 9331 9999.  Of course this applies at any time throughout the year, so always feel welcome to contact the school to discuss any aspect of your child's progress.

Yours faithfully,

Geoff Currie

Assistant Principal
