2019 School Production- "Alice in Wonderland"

The Drama department and all students are so excited to perform eve
ryone’s favourite story- Alice In Wonderland!

Wonderland. Is a colourful, strange, exciting world that Alice is faced with when she falls down a hole after she chases the White Rabbit. Immediately she encounters all our favourite characters the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the Cheshire Cat, Doremouse, Caterpillar and March Hare before she is called to trial by the very scary King and Queen of Hearts.

Buckley Park College has licenced the play version that uses only the highlights of both Alice in Wonderland and Alice in the Looking Glass so we see both stories. We also met the Duchess, Humpty Dumpty, the White Knight and “Time.” This version has the added bonus of two Alice’s! Will the audience work out why there are two? Will they ever meet? Will they both find their way out alive? Who is, “Time,” and will he ever speak? With a live college band, singers and dancers and hits such as, “Sympathy from the Devil”, by The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift and the Beatles it’s sure to one of the most memorable whole school productions ever.

The College’s adaptation is not to be missed!

See Alice in Wonderland as a musical directed by Tanya McHenry with dedication, assistance and support by Lizzie McFarlane, Tess Sakkas, Margie Bainbridge, Caitlyn Barclay, Danielle Santangelo and Anne Sced. With a cast and crew of 200 students this season promises to be colourful, wild and entertaining!
