The Year 10s completed their major production practical projects recently, and they were perhaps one of the best displays ever. Most impressive was the diversity of creative styles and ideas on show: from guitar stands to make-up holders; triangular lattice bookshelves to a ‘Fred Flintstone speaker unit’ and much, much more. Differing (often re-cycled) timber species were a feature, including celery top pine, jarrah, hardwood and pine. Whilst working with wood was the obvious key focus, the students managed to also incorporate casting resin, epoxy, glass, and a number of other materials into their projects.
What a fantastic effort!
